WordIndexer projects the impact of global development. It confronts the exigencies of growth that reconfigure our global terrain. An antidote to the fragmentation of global development, this installation erases divisions and differences, removing all boundaries of ownership, politics and responsibility.  Rather than distinguishing between arbitrary and unstable dichotomies of rural and urban, developed and natural, land and water, WorldIndexer reflects our understanding of the world and the collective population as one continuous entity, without boundaries. The earth’s surface is unfolded and reconstructed, seen from the inside looking out.  Worldindexer materializes the vast and intricate phenomenon of development as a seamless three-dimensional terrain, projecting the unprecedented growth and competing demands placed upon resources.
